A day shooting game on a West Country estate is an experience that shots the world over aspire to enjoy. The pheasant is the main quarry of the region, but partridge, woodcock, snipe, geese and three species of duck are also regularly encountered.

We have several different types of days available, but these can be tailored to suit the team of guns participating. The most popular days are driven days with bag sizes varying from 100 – 400 birds. The bag is made up of mainly good quality high pheasants, shown over varying terrain, with some partridge and duck often featuring in the bag as well.

We also arrange walked – up day where the bag might typically be made up of 3 – 6 game species and several “various”. Four guns and a couple of dogs, a hearty breakfast and a late lunch in a pub make for a really traditional shooting experience.
